A postcard of Nannau from 1905 (taken from Foel Offrwm). Interesting for the view of the greenhouse and sunken garden, now long gone. The brick side of the greenhouse still survives (which held all the heating equipment etc.), but part of the garden was replaced with a tennis court.
Notice the semi-circular flower bed above the sunken garden, with it’s paths around.
There seems to be a walled vegetable garden below the greenhouse which has now been replaced by the Estate’s farm buildings.
The postcard is franked 29th October 1905.
