An early 19th Century mahogany folding firescreen, enclosing four naive oil paintings on canvas, one side with landscapes depicting ”old Nannau” (1694) and ”old Rûg”, the other side with two bridges on the Nannau estate built by Sir Robert Williames Vaughan (2nd Baronet), dated 1833, one bridge bearing the Vaughan crest of lion rampant, the canvas panels 23.5 inches x 19.5 inches (59.5cm x 49.5cm), the firescreen overall 45 inches (114cm) high.
