Chilcotts 2008 Auction – Lot 087

A brass lockplate inscribed Sir Robert Williames Vaughan, Nannau, used by his son while at Balliol College, Oxford, 4.9 inches (12.5cm) wide; together with engraved copper bookplates, etc., brass and green onyx Vaughan table seal, various steel matrices, Vaughan, Salisbury and Williames family bookplate labels, and other artefacts, contained in a 19th Century carved pine box with brass carry handles.
